Four Seasons Condoms has launched an ‘app-rodisiac’, an online puppet show and app to entertain the kids while parents get busy in the bedroom.

The Extendables app can be securely paired with a smartphone to enable parents to control and monitor the kids entertainment from the bedroom.

The app alerts parents when the program is nearing the end and offers the option to extend the content, should they require more time.

The app also activates the motion sensor of the device where the kids are viewing the content and sends an alert to the phone if the child wanders away from the screen.

Four Seasons Condoms partnered with Marcel Sydney and Marcel Paris to create the app after research revealed one-third of Australian parents have a fear of being interrupted by their kids during sex.

Almost three quarters (73%) of Australian parents have already been interrupted by their kids during sex, while 22% of parents said they have less quality time for romance and sex when the kids are around, such as during school holidays.

Wesley Hawes, deputy ECD at Marcel Sydney said, “This is a real issue that affects nearly all parents at some point of their lives and I hope our fuzzy friends allow parents around the world to reconnect again. I’m the target audience. I’ve got two children – a three-year-old and a seven-week-old, and I haven’t had sex for about four years.”

“The Extendables is Four Seasons’ way of highlighting the importance of this time. A healthy sex life makes for happier, less stressed parents," said Hawes.

The app is being promoted across social media with activity on Facebook and Youtube.
