National independent agency 22squared, based in Atlanta, has recruited golfer Jordan Spieth for PGA's Tour Superstore campaign.

The campaign, 'Golf Season is Back', features a series of short videos to be released via the PGA Tour Superstore’s social channels. The first 30-second spot, titled 'Line', features Spieth in line at the store with products in hand. He names off what he has to make sure he hasn’t forgotten anything and as he does, he realizes he has forgotten golf balls. Upon noticing this, he puts down a ball marker at his space in line, and rushes to get his forgotten item.

“This campaign portrays golf in a fun and inspiring way with one of the best golfers on the planet,” said PGA Tour Superstore’s chief marketing officer, Matt Corey. “Jordan represents a new generation of golfers and yet he appeals to golfers of all generations because he exemplifies sportsmanship, humor, passion and respect for the game. He affirms our brand’s message about enjoying the golf experience.”

'Line' will air national on the Golf Channel.

PGA Tour Superstore is one of the fastest growing retail chains in the US and features an enormous selection of products and certified professionals to help golfers of all levels test and purchase the right equipment and apparel. The chain currently has 29 stores located across the US.

Kevin Botfeld, senior vice president and executive creative director at 22squared, stated: “The idea of ‘Line’ was initially developed as an online content video. However, when (Spieth sponsor) Under Armour and Jordan’s camp saw the spot, they loved it and wanted to share it with golf fans on a bigger stage.”

22squared has worked with PGA Tour Superstore since 2013.
