Mattel Creations has appointed ProjectFirst and Little Dot Studios in Russia and France respectively, to manage AVOD platforms and grow channel subscribers for Mattel’s brands Barbie, Hot Wheels, Monster High as well as cultivating new digital channels for Thomas & Friends.

ProjectFirst, a multi-channel YouTube network that creates, distributes and promotes family-friendly content in multiple languages, will manage and grow Mattel’s presence on AVOD content distribution platforms, manage its existing regional YouTube channels for Mattel content, and create a new Russian channel for Thomas & Friends.

Little Dot Studios, the biggest distributor of television content on YouTube, will create and manage a brand new channel for Thomas & Friends in France; building the channel, creating clips, compilations and targeted playlists and working on content and channel optimization, as well as working closely with YouTube Kids to maximize opportunities for audience growth.

The Welsh Government has appointed Zone to support the discovery phase of an online digital platform on behalf of NHS Wales.

The agency has been tasked with helping NHS Wales understand how it can provide patients and healthcare professionals in Wales with a new way of accessing healthcare information and services more efficiently online. Patients in Wales currently predominantly access health and care services either by telephone or in person.

Zone has been briefed to develop the digital and UX (user experience) strategy for the new platform, providing personalised information on local and national services.

Glasgow 2018, the multi-sport European Championships event, has appointed Stripe Communications as its digital agency of choice.

As the digital partner for Glasgow, Stripe Communications will be tasked with delivering the event’s social strategy, campaign ideation, content creation and delivery of paid and organic digital activity across all social and web channels.

Stripe Communications will begin work immediately and, over the next 18 months, will focus on 13 key event milestones including volunteer recruitment, the mascot launch and the European Championships event itself.

The Caravan and Motorhome Club has appointed OMD UK as its integrated marketing agency. OMD UK will provide strategic planning and integrated marketing services to the company. It follows a recent rebrand that saw the club shift its focus to experiences.

Bang & Olufsen, the luxury Danish consumer electronics company, is working with independent London based creative agency Cubo, to help develop its marketing strategy in the UK. Bang & Olufsen turned to Cubo and the agency’s proprietary research tool, Headspace, to inform the direction of the strategy.
