Coming from adamandeveDDB as its group head of planning, Boyd will report to Nick Farnhill, chief executive of Publicis London and POKE. He will work alongside executive creative director Dave Monk and chairman Karen Buchanan.

He will manage the strategic oversight of the agencies primary clients that include Morrisons, P&G, Heineken, UBS, Nestlé, Renault, SCA and Tourism Ireland.

Nick Farnhill, Publicis London, said: “Dom is widely known as one of the best planners in the industry, he signals a very clear intent at Publicis London. We’re really excited about him joining at this time in our evolution as an agency, and look forward to him working with the team in driving the agency’s shared agenda in developing bold and innovative creative ideas to help drive business transformation for all our clients.”

Boyd, added: “While adamandeveDDB is a tough place to leave and I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved, Publicis’ digital leadership, entrepreneurial DNA and scale of ambition make it a very rare beast – an agency genuinely committed to transformational thinking.”

Over the past 18 months the agency secured clients including Morrisons, P&G Dish, Heineken global digital, YOPA and most recently the International Olympics Committee, as the company has been selected to lead the 2018 Winter Olympics brand campaign.
