Ad of the Day: Deliveroo celebrates opening in 100th location with first TV ad

Deliveroo's first TV ads focuses on 'moments' revolving around food.

Restaurant delivery service Deliveroo has launched its first ever TV campaign to coincide with it opening up in its 100th town and city.

The campaign, created by Fallon London, plays on the idea that Deliveroo is rooted in the memorable moments people create around food, from first dates to picnics on the beach and the first bite of the wedding cake.

Dan Warne, UK & Ireland managing director at Deliveroo, said: “Only 4 years ago our founder and CEO made his first delivery, 4 years on we now deliver to 100 cities and towns right across the UK. The pace of our growth demonstrates how the British public are embracing the move to get great food from great restaurants delivered straight to their door.”

Deliveroo grew by over 650% in 2016 and now works with over 20,000 restaurants and employs over 1,000 people full-time around the world.
