Coming from the Omnicom agency Martin Williams in Minneapolis, Terry was hired to lead the development and implementation of growth initiatives and oversee the marketing and public relations teams for the Havas Chicago Group, which has clients such as Citi, Cracker Barrel and Sears.

"It didn't work out," said Paul Marobella, CEO, Havas Chicago, in an interview with The Chicago Business Journal, who noted that Terry has returned to Minneapolis where she came from citing mostly personal reasons for her departure.

Terry was to take over the position left by chief growth officer Laura Maness who was promoted to president of Havas New York. Following the departure, there is already a search underway to fill the position.

With a company agency culture that is shifting, Havas Chicago has coupled an advertising shift with an office revamp to make the space more open and to seat staff by individual client. The company, which has focused on the creation of the first ever agency for millennials by millennials, the development of the Annex, a satellite ad-shop in the West Loop, and the building out of a robust Latino agency has been a Havas Chicago focus and an edge as it looks to make changes.
