Lego Batman’s been doing the commercial rounds, with partnerships with Chevy and in the UK, Channel 4 and Sky Broadband, just the tip of the iceberg.

The Warner Bros-owned movie character has made an appearance on the CW Network, which is 50% owned by the company. CW has made a name as the home of DC Comics TV shows such as Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl and the Legends of Tomorrow – with the Batman property noticeably absent until now.

Lego Batman appears alongside his DC counterparts, each voiced by the shows' stars in a promo for the network publicising the slate of shows on the network.

Warner Bros has shown how far it can push the Lego Batman license which appears to be granted more freedom than its live-action, Ben Affleck counterpart.

The activity builds upon popular CW shows getting the Lego treatment in dedicated billboards.
