Darryl Broadfoot will join Frame as a partner in March 2017

Broadfoot joins the Glasgow-based firm as a partner and is expected to commence his role on 27 March.

The arrival of the Herald’s former chief football writer marks a period of growth for the agency which hired Alison Downs, the former head of PR firm Stripe, in August 2016. Account manager at The Big Partnership, Paddy Baxter, has also joined Frame and will start in April.

Speaking to the Herald about his new position, Broodfoot said: “I am hugely excited to be joining one of the fastest-growing PR agencies in Scotland and working alongside a respected and motivated team put together by Stephen. After more than a decade in sports media, and seven years at the Scottish FA, I am energised by this latest challenge.”

Broadfoot will work with Frame’s portfolio of clients which include Social Bite, Miller Homes, HR Consultancy and Perth Racecourse. The agency has also handled George Clooney and Leonardo DiCaprio’s involvement with the Scottish Business Awards.
