Ogilvy & Mather Singapore assigns Jason Hill to newly created chief strategy officer role
Ogilvy & Mather Singapore (O&M) has created a new senior role for its strategy team in Singapore, promoting former head of consulting and data analytics Jason Hill.
Jason Hill takes on chief strategy officer role at Ogilvy & Mather Singapore
According to O&M, the role will see him leading Singapore’s strategy group as chief strategy officer, across planning, customer engagement, channel, data analytics and social strategy.
Chris Riley, group chairman of Ogilvy & Mather Singapore, said: “As our strategic offering continues to evolve, he will be instrumental in relentlessly applying different combinations of strategic skills from within the group to enhance our creative solutions and help clients to unlock value from their customers and brands. Jason is a natural leader with a knack for award-winning strategy and execution, and he will continue to push the boundaries in his new role.”
Hill has spent 10 years within the Ogilvy & Mather group, first working in its Sydney office as head of strategy, before moving to Singapore in 2015.
Hill added: “With the uptake of digital happening at such a rapid rate in Asia, the need for brands to interpret and apply data insights is absolutely critical in ensuring business growth and competitive advantage.”
The announcement comes one week after the agency made a high profile hire to its creative team. Ogilvy & Mather Singapore hired highly-awarded creative Francis Wee as executive creative director.
