An NFL player’s full time celebration has gone into extra time after the Steeler’s carried their jubilation at an unexpected win over the Chief’s in an AFC playoff to their locker room after the match.

Not content with ripping his shirt off, Steelers player Antonio Brown whipped out his smartphone for a 17 minute Facebook Live broadcast which racked up close to 900,000 views in the two hours it was available.

Unfortunately for Brown his antics were soon cut short by spoilsports enforcing the NFL’s social media policy which bans players from using any form of social media for 90 minutes following conclusion of a post-match press conference.

In addition, the NFL bars anyone from shooting video in their locker rooms apart from approved broadcast partners, with that footage itself subject to a 24-hour embargo.

Fellow Steelers players are themselves unlikely to be enamoured by the stunt; particularly head coach Mike Tomlin whose private post-match speech was leaked to the world in the background.
