Apple is betting that consumers will be all ears to its Airpod message with the technology giant airing a slew of adverts geared toward convincing a skeptical populace as to the merits of ditching their trusted headphones for its wireless alternative.

The campaign follows the launch of the iPhone 7 which controversially removed the 3.5mm headphone jack entirely, forcing all owners of the new handset to make the switch. Now it is targeting the mainstream market beyond early adopters to convince the world that its earpieces are the future.

The commercials depict a man sauntering along a city street while listening to the Marian Hill song ‘Down’, which inspires him into an impromptu pavement dance routine.

During the ads one minute duration Apple take the opportunity to show off some of the devices functionality including automated ‘pairing’ with Apple devices and their Siri voice command compatibility.
