Powwownow dials into the New Year by urging workers to ‘Call and Conquer’

Conference calling specialists Powwownow is ringing in the changes this January by encouraging office workers to ‘Call and Conquer’ as part of a new campaign targeting frustrated commuters caught up in London’s tube strike.

The campaign seeks to remind commuters throughout 2017 that they can just pick up a phone rather than picking up their briefcase whilst also grabbing a few extra minutes of precious shut eye.

Simon Labbett, co-founder of creative agency Hometown London, said: “Why travel in when you can dial in? Why get tied up in email chains when a quick call will do? With the work, we are demonstrating that a conference call can be the fastest and smartest way to do business.”

“Going forwards, reactive executions will play a big part in the campaign, targeting high profile disputes, travel disruption and other relevant newsworthy events.”

Encompassing outdoor, press, social and radio outlets the campaign makes use of eye-catching typography to bring phrases such as ‘Charisma can’t be found in an inbox’ and ‘Smart gets it done in 60 seconds, not 60 emails’ to life.

Powwownow handed its advertising account to Hometown in December 2014.
