Fitch hires new executive creative director to lead key Asian markets

Fitch has appointed Simon Stacey as executive creative director, with the remit of leading the offices in South East and North Asia.

Based out of the Singapore office, he will lead design in the offices in China (Beijing and Shanghai offices), Hong Kong and Singapore, as well as be a part of the Fitch Global Creative Council.

Andrew Crombie, CEO for South East and North Asia, said: “Simon is a master in the art of connecting physical, human and digital experiences to bring about significant business growth for clients and their brands.He joins Fitch at a time of significant opportunity in Asia as we seek to broaden our reach across Asia and the Pacific.”

Reporting into global chairman and chief creative officer Tim Greenhalgh, he will be charged with leading the design practices across the region, particularly around the area of retail and how that’s changing in the face of new customer behaviours.

He joins Fitch from Deloitte Australia where he was brand and spatial experience design director. He had previously worked on brands such as Amazon, Christian Louboutin, Dunhill, Harrods, Infiniti, Liberty, Orange, Selfridges, Tesco, The Conran Shop, Toyota, Waitrose and Virgin.
