Rotherham United social media blunder shows two players urinating

Rotherham United suffered an embarrassing faux pas on social media after a tweet for an anti-hate crime campaign accidentally captured two players urinating.

The Championship side were attempting to promote a campaign encouraging people to report hate crime and posted a tweet with midfielder Lee Frecklington holding a poster for the campaign.

Standing on the grass behind Frecklingtonin however are two Rotherham players urinating.

The tweet was sent out to more than 55,000 followers but was swiftly deleted after the blunder was pointed out.

Further mishaps appear in the poster itself with the design company forgetting to add a logo on the top right instead leaving the words “Supported by RUFC logo.”
