The news anchor will be joined by the likes of Ashley Highfield; Johnston Press chief executive, Stephen Hull; Huffington Post UK editor-in-chief, Patrick Falconer; managing director UK at The New York Times, Maggie Hitchins; digital editor-in-chief at Stylist, and Conor McNicholas, former NME editor and chief executive of content agency AllTogetherNow, to name but a few.

The event is a celebration of the great and good in media, championing the efforts of both new and legacy publishers to adapt to the constantly shifting media space. Digital disruptors from the likes of Quartz, Vice and Wired took home trophies in 2016, as traditional media companies such as Al Jazeera and BBC Newsbeat won big for adapting to the rapidly changing media landscape.

Now in its seventh year, the awards will be moderated by a panel of leading media executives from Time Inc, Dennis Publishing, Trinity Mirror, The Pool, MoFilm and The Times.

Media companies and journalists looking to enter the awards have until 24 February 2017 to do so, on the dedicated website. The awards ceremony is set to take place on 1 June 2017 at a black tie event hosted by Marriott Grosvenor Square Hotel in London.

Keith Walker, digital director of innovation, Time Inc UK, said: "I’m excited to be on the judging panel for the 2017 Online Media Awards because celebrating the innovation and talent that drive this industry is always inspiring.”

Anna Watkins, partner at MoFilm, said: “I am thrilled to be joining the judging panel for The Drum again. What's refreshing is the depth and breadth of the categories and therefore the entries themselves. I'm looking forward to seeing the marrying of tech, creativity and data to allow the ideas to not only sing out but to spread across platforms.”

This year, sponsors of the Online Media Awards include Tint, The Drum’s Recommended Agency Register (RAR), and The Drum Network.
