Agency Leadership Forum (ALF) is launched by Tempora and Yoyo to bring agencies together

Creative agency Yoyo and agency time and profitability software provider Tempora have launched a new business forum designed for agency leaders to share their knowledge and experience on the biggest challenges facing ambitious agencies.

Stuart Smith, Tempora's managing director, said: "We’ve had a lot fun working with creative agencies over the last 15 years, but it’s being involved with clients at this level that is the most enjoyable part of what we do. It’s refreshing that right off the bat we had such a positive response to the idea of agencies learning from one another. We’ll be inviting guest speakers to trigger discussions, but the real value comes when the group start sharing their own experiences – importantly on a Chatham House Rules basis. It's very satisfying to provoke the exchange of good ideas."

Jenny Kitchen, Yoyo’s managing director commented: “Leading an agency is the best job in the world but it isn't without its challenges. All agencies large and small go through similar challenges, so we wanted to create a forum whereby leaders can share ideas and support each other. Even though there is a healthy competition between some of the agencies, there is more to be gained from sharing our experience and knowledge with each other. Plus, a number of new business opportunities are already being discussed between some agencies, an added bonus!“

These events will be taking place every two months in Tempora's homeland Tunbridge Wells and aim to demonstrate that local talent need not commute to London for a job in a top agency.

The next ALF event will be ‘Strategies for Winning New Business’, which will take place on 17 January 2017.
