Templeton joins from Firstborn New York, where he also served in the role of creative director and worked with brands including Audible and Patron. In his new role, he’ll be working on brands including Baskin-Robbins, SunTrust Bank and Home Depot.

His appointment is the latest in a string of creative hires at the agency’s Atlanta office. Executive creative director Al Patton joined from R/GA in May and creative director Bryan Lee joined from BBDO Atlanta in July.

“We couldn’t be more excited to be adding someone of Cameron’s abilities to our growing creative team in Atlanta,” said Patton in a statement. “What he brings in the areas of storytelling and innovation are industry best-in-class, and his maker mentality is a great fit for our culture.”

22squared, which also has an office in Tampa, works with clients including Publix, Southeast Toyota and Dunkin’ Donuts.
