Brand Union, WPP’s global brand strategy and design agency, has strengthened its New York leadership team with the promotion of Christina Falzano to managing director.

Falzano most recently held the title of executive director, client services, where she oversaw key client relationships and development initiatives for brands including IHG, Pernod Ricard, CBRE and Dell. Falzano has experience working with Dell in a previous role at Grey, helping launch their first consumer-facing website, and the relationship continued when Brand Union began working with Dell.

As she shifts into a more prominent leadership role at Brand Union, Falzano will continue to play a lead role in developing and driving business, helping strengthen and evolve the agency and increase visibility as a top-tier brand consultancy.

“Over the past 12-18 months, we have significantly enhanced our profile and portfolio, raised the bar on our creative product, honed our strategic methods, and deepened our relationships with clients, and we’ll continue to earn recognition for type of agency we have become,” said Falzano.

“I’ve worked closely with Christina over the last three years and this is a promotion of note: deserving, appropriate, timely. We have a fantastic leadership group in New York – a handful of people who are actively shaping our future – and no one has done more than Christina to guide the growth of Brand Union New York, and I'm excited to see Christina put her own stamp on our next chapter," added Worldwide CEO Toby Southgate.

Prior to joining Brand Union, Falzano served as Group Director of Creative Services at Siegel+Gale and as Director of Digital Strategy and Marketing for The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, helping launch the property, its website and social channels.
