Many of the moments within the book were chosen by the industry’s best and brightest - Ogilvy & Mather’s worldwide chief creative officer Tham Khai Meng, Ad Council president Lisa Sherman, and co-chairman at Goodby, Silverstein & Partners Jeff Goodby are just a few of the book’s contributors.
From the first TV ad in 1941 to the launch of the iPhone in 2007, the book covers the many technologies that have changed the way marketers reach and interact with consumers. The book also includes the most iconic campaigns of the past 120 years, including De Beers’ ‘A Diamond is Forever,’ VW’s ‘Think Small,’ Apple’s 1984 spot and Dove’s ‘Campaign for Real Beauty.’
Aside from the moments themselves, the book includes an introduction written by the Advertising Club’s president Gina Grillo and a feature about the club’s history as well.
The book, which is available in both print and PDF versions, can be purchased here. The Advertising Club is launching the ‘120 Marketing Moments’ book at its annual holiday party on Dec. 1.
