Daglish has been a long-time supporter of Nabs as a member of its ‘Stranger Than Summer’ organising committee, a Nabs Speed Mentor and also a Nabs Trustee.

He officially takes up the role at the end of this month when he will become responsible for championing Nabs as well as helping to implement the charity’s refreshed vision and purpose of ‘Putting People First’.

Alongside Diana Tickell, chief executive, he will also work closely with MediaCom chairwoman Karen Blackett, who was appointed president in March.

“Ian has done a fantastic job as chairman of Nabs and I’m delighted to pick up his baton to help develop and deliver NABS’ proposition of Putting People First. Nabs is more vital to our industry than ever before and it’s an honour to be part of the movement,” said Daglish.

Pearman is stepping down having served two 3-year terms as chairman. Reflecting on his tenure, Diana Tickell, Nabs CEO said: “During Ian's six years as chair, Nabs has significantly increased its fundraising and engagement with the wider industry and supported more people than ever, all under his thoughtful, astute and impassioned chairmanship. It's been a pleasure to work with him”.
