MediaMonks extends it international influence with new office in Buenos Aires

MediaMonks has strengthened its global footprint after opening a new space in Buenos Aires, Argentina, taking its international office tally to 10.

The production powerhouse launched the new office with a team of 60 and tasked industry veterans Sebastian Caramés, Alejandro Lazos, and Richard Nieuwenhuis with overseeing the new division.

It is the creative production company’s second office in South America after opening MediaMonks São Paulo, Brazil, in April. The region is now the world’s fastest-growing advertising market in terms of ad spend and media investment, with the latest outlet opened in response to increasing demand for high-end production.

The offices will work at the intersection of film and digital and catering for local advertising, technology and entertainment companies to produce culturally relevant work for brands across the continent.

MediaMonks Buenos Aires was set up under direction of its veteran director of operations, Richard Nieuwenhuis. Together with managing partners Alejandro Lazos and Sebastian Caramés, MediaMonks spent close to a year building its team in the city and operations. The office has assembled an international team of the top digital talent in Latin America, plus it also consists of long-time MediaMonks’ employees that transferred from its Amsterdam HQ.
