Urban Fresh Foods, which made the Sunday Times Fast Track 100 recently, has named the7stars as its media planning and buying agency.
The appointment follows a competitive pitch and tasks the media agency with planning and buying duties that were previously handled by the client in-house.
Emma Howgego, marketing director for Urban Fresh Foods, explained: “We felt an immediate bond with their team, who combined real expertise with such enthusiasm and passion. They clearly love what they do, really spent the time understanding what motivated us as a business, and are very collaborative in their approach.”
Sam Farrand, the7stars, added: “Bear Nibbles and Urban Fruit are two of the most interesting food brands around at the moment. Not only have they seen a meteoric rise in recent years, but they have an unbelievable culture that made us determined to work with them from the minute we walked into Urban Fresh Foods’ ‘Bear Cave’.”
Urban Fresh Foods was acquired by Lotus Bakeries last December in a deal worth £70m according to the Telegraph.
