Amazon has unveiled the first full length trailer for The Grand Tour, giving fans a sneak peak at the high-budget series.

The long-awaited ad teases footage featuring Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond carrying out all manner of stunts across four continents in Amazon's Top Gear Rival.

The Grand Tour will be made available as an Amazon Prime Video exclusive on 18 November, following a familiar format of big explosions, exotic locations and expensive cars.

The show's slick ad reveals no expense was spared by Amazon during filming. It's Mad Max-style opening sequence alone is believed to have cost £2.5m and shows Clarkson and co with a huge number of cars worth $20m, 200 "petrolheads", acrobats and six jet planes.

The Telegraph reports that Andy Wilman, the show's executive producer who followed the presenting Trio from BBC following Clarkson's "fracas" with a different producer, said the team have signed a deal committing them 12 episodes of the show every year until 2019.
