Ryan Linder, SVP of business development at MDC Partners, has been promoted to the newly created role of US chief marketing officer.
In his new role, he will be tasked with overseeing marketing and business development in the US for MDC’s agency portfolio, which includes 72andSunny, Anomaly, CP+B, Mono and Assembly. He will also partner with MDC’s European chief marketing officer Lotta Malm Hallqvist and Canada’s chief marketing officer Stephanie Nerlich to drive global growth.

“What sets Ryan apart is his boundless energy and enthusiasm for business development, and the investment he makes in building deep agency and client relationships,” said Kantor in a statement. “Ryan works across MDC’s diverse partner agencies to expertly align them with the right clients, which is why so many brands count on him as a partner and a stakeholder in helping them achieve their goals."
Before joining MDC, Linder served as SVP and chief growth officer for creative agency Doner. Throughout his career, he has held senior roles at agencies including Assembly, Zimmerman and Olson.
