Ad of the Day: Sky Q brings back Idris Elba to prove it's ‘The Next Generation Box’

Sky has launched a through-the-line campaign to introduce Sky Q as ‘The Next Generation Box’.

Focusing on five key features, the series of ads sees Idris Elba relaxing at home as he explains the benefits of Sky Q’s new features – from recording more of the shows you love to taking recordings out and about with you.

Created by Brothers and Sisters, the campaign includes three 30-second TV ads as well as a suite of 10-second videos created as part of a digital sequential targeting campaign. Print work showcases the kit, heroing the box itself and using content to bring each feature to life.

Will Flack and Aaron Wilmer worked as creative directors on the project with Andy Fowler as executive creative director. Sam Miller at Hunky Dory directed the sports and Mediacom handled media planning and buying.
