She replaces founding partner and chief creative officer Paul Malmstrom, who will now take on the role of creative chairman. Malmstrom helped found the agency in 2003 along with Andrew Deitchman, Linus Karlsson and Rob DeFlorio.
Falusi will be joining the shop this December from Ogilvy & Mather New York, where she is currently serving as chief creative officer. She joined Ogilvy & Mather New York in 2012 and was promoted to the top creative post last year. During her time at Ogilvy, she has led work for brands including Coke Zero, Tiffany and Ikea.
“Corinna’s leadership is imbued with a wonderful energy,” said Mother New York’s CEO and partner, Peter Ravailhe, in a statement. “With her relentless pursuit of excellence, in craft and creativity, Corinna will add incredible value to the brands we love to work with, and to Mother as a whole.”
Before joining Ogilvy & Mather, Falusi served as executive creative director at StrawberryFrog’s New York office. She got her start at German ad agency Jung von Matt.
