iProspect to be led from Asia Pacific as it promotes Ruth Stubbs to global president

iProspect has promoted Ruth Stubbs to global president that will see her join the board team as well as flip responsibility for the global business to now be driven from Asia Pacific.

Ruth Stubs appointed iProspect global president

Stubbs had been CEO for Asia Pacific for over five years and takes on her new role immediately, working with the senior global team in Asia, UK, EMEA and the US. Her replacement in APAC will be announced in the coming weeks, according to the company.

She takes over from Ben Wood who left the business in August to join Facebook in a new global role of director of agencies, part of a series of high profile hires at the social network.

According to Dentsu Aegis Network, she increased the business from 40 people to over 1,000, as well as buying seven businesses into iProspect through acquisition and achieved over 50 per cent growth in revenue YOY.

Stubbs is also behind the Dentsu Aegis fund for female entrepreneurs in Southeast Asia. The aim of the project is to help drive the trend for women in South and Southeast Asia to start up their own business.
