Be Heard Group plans further acquisitions

Digital marketing company Be Heard Group Plc has announced plans for further agency acquisitions, alongside the publication of its Unaudited Interim Results.

The period to end June saw the group raise £8.1m and acquire its second partner, MMT Digital, an award-winning website design and build agency specialising in architecting, creating and building bespoke websites and applications. This follows the acquisition of digital media agency, Agenda 21, late last year.

Be Heard Group's executive chairman Peter Scott said: "Our first set of interim results is in line with the board's expectations. We have added our second high-quality digital agency in MMT Digital and made good progress in executing our strategy.

"Cross referrals have already been seen within the group and the first clients are now working with both agencies. Be Heard Group's goal is to create an agile, interconnected group that operates at the intersection of marketing, technology and commerce."

Ben Rudman, chief executive officer of MMT Digital, said: “This is great news for the group and will help Be Heard secure more partners from their growing pipeline of acquisition opportunities. We are excited to be part of the group and as more partners are brought onboard it will enable us to focus on our key services while being able to offer a wider range of expertise to our clients.”

MMT Digital added brands such as BDO, Centaur Media and Shaw Trust to their list of client wins this year while Agenda 21 added Vodafone, Wiltshire Farm Foods, Net Wealth and Mr & Mrs Smith to their client list, as well as becoming the lead digital agency for Domestic & General.
