The company's brands Listerine, Johnson’s, Neutrogena, Regaine, Nicorette and Aveeno are now all available via Amazon's new instant buy button.

Dubbed as a ‘one-press’ way to order supplies of everyday items, the branded plastic buttons can be ordered online for £4.99 and placed next to a fridge, toilet, cooker etc. When a product runs out, the user simply taps the wi-fi enabled button and it can be re-ordered though Amazon.

Jane Savage, director – digital, media and scale, Northern Europe commented: “We are always looking at ways we can make life easier for people. Making our products so readily available at a point in the daily routine takes away an extra layer of hassle from busy households... We’re incredibly excited to be a part of Amazon Dash Button’s UK launch and look forward to seeing people embrace this new tech. It is a whole new way to shop.”

The button has been available in the US since 2015, with Amazon saying that 150 brands are now available on Dash (up from about 20 at launch) and that it has seen a threefold increase in customer orders coming through the device since June.
