The campaign aims to position a view from China as being committed to the global economy, as well as setting out the priorities for the country as it hosts the G20 Summit in Hangzhou.

Two videos, titled ‘G20, China Join in’, have been produced and will be promoted via CNBC’s TV, digital and social media channels throughout the event.

The campaign sits as a wider strategy of the SCIO to show China’s mutual trust, cooperation and communication with the rest of the world. According to CNBC, the idea is to show “an innovative, invigorated, interconnected and inclusive global economy”.

Kerry Tarrant, Vice President, Advertising Sales and Partnerships of CNBC Catalyst, said; “The opportunity for CNBC Catalyst to work on such a significant campaign was a privilege and one that we are excited to execute.”

The campaign will run across CNBC’s media channels across the globe, inclusive of APAC, the US and Europe.
