New PewDiePie game set to hit YouTube
YouTube’s biggest name, PewDiePie, is going to star in a game about streaming games on YouTube.
PewDiePie game
Outermind, the Montreal-based studio behind PewDiePie, revealed today that a new game called Tuber Simulator - which puts players in the role of a budding video game streamer - will soon be available.
Although very little information is available about the game prior to the official announcement, PewDiePie has tweeted out a handful of images that give an idea of what Tuber Simulator will be like. It sports an isometric, pixelated look reminiscent of Japanese studio Kairosoft, best known for quirky simulators like Game Dev Story.
As in those games, it appears the gamer will be able to build a career from a small time, little-known YouTuber, and work up to a PewDiePie-level celebrity. The gamer can also make your desk look like a giant cat.
Outermind is also the mastermind behind PewDiePie’s previous foray into games, Legend of the Brofist.
No release date or platforms have been announced just yet.
