Carrie McCament joins Brownstein Group as CMO

Carrie McCament has joined Philadelphia's Brownstein Group as chief marketing officer.

McCament will oversee Brownstein Group’s overall brand positioning and marketing initiatives while focusing on the agency's strategic growth. She brings 30 years of marketing and business development experience with her, having worked with IPG, Omnicom and Publicis previously.

“We were looking for someone that can take this agency to a new level of commercial and creative success,” said Brownstein Group CEO & president Marc Brownstein in a statement. “Carrie is an original thinker that has a contemporary approach to growth. With her wealth of knowledge, I am confident that she will take this agency in new directions while maintaining our heritage and strong core values.”

McCament’s has extensive experience on both the agency and client side, and has helped develop break-through marketing strategies for some of the world’s largest and most recognizable brands.

“For me, Brownstein Group represents being in the right place at the right time in my career,” said McCament in a statement. “There is great upside potential and given the rich assets and results-driven culture that currently exist within the agency, I have no doubt I can make immediate impact and elevate the national conversation around BG longer term.”

Prior to Brownstein Group, McCament served as partner-SVP of account management at Rosetta/Publicis, where she was responsible for driving brand strategy and thought leadership on behalf of Samsung. She also spent eight years at GO Experience Design/OMC, where she led their flagship account, Bank of America.

Brownstein Group's clients include Ikea, United Healthcare and Comcast.
