For all the parents out there that think social media is distracting your kids, think again. YouNow, which has become a live streaming favorite among creators, recently hit a new milestone. He's amassed over 200,000 fans on YouNow which helped him connect with someone at the University who encouraged him to apply for the scholarships. He'll even be working with the media department at the school.

YouNow has recently been launching some cool features that separate it from other live streaming/social media platforms. This includes, "Moments," which allows users to more easily share clips from their favorite live streams.
