Korean vehicle brand Kia Motors has named David Hilbert as its new UK marketing director following his departure from a similar role at Toyota.
Hilbert served as Toyota’s general manager of vehicle marketing for the past three years and will assume his new role on 1 September.
Commenting on his latest job Hilbert remarked: “I am really excited to be joining Kia at this point in time – the brand has gone through a massive change over the last few years and has surprised motorists and the industry alike with its focus on design, reliability and appeal.
“There have been some amazing products recently – the all-new Sportage for example – and I know there is a great deal more to come.”
Hilbert will be tasked with growing sales and developing the Kia brand more "surprising and satisfying".
