Uswitch calls ad review
Price comparison Uswitch has called an advertising review just months after it was snapped up by Zoopla.
Uswitch is reviewing its ad account.
The move will see incumbent creative shop Thinking Juice compete to retain the business. Uswitch is currently prepping a list of agencies that will be invited to pitch for the account.
In a statement the price comparison site said: "We confirm that we are reviewing our advertising agency arrangements. AAR is helping us to draw up a shortlist and Thinking Juice, who we currently work with, will be invited to participate in the pitch process."
Such a move usually signals imminent change at the brand, which used Life on Mars star Phil Glenister to front the first ads for its broadband service in January but then was criticised by MPs for not showing all the energy tariffs available to consumers a month later.
The move follows Zoopla’s acquisition of Uswitch in March for £190m. The UK’s second biggest online property portal sees the business as a way to diversify itself and has already revealed plans to create the first end-to-end service of estate agency software, bolster both its digital marketing and market insight tools.
