Swedish Fish is now a flavour of Oreo
Oreo has partnered with supermarket chain Kroger to launch what might be the most unique variety yet of its famous cookie: Swedish Fish.

The Mondelez International-owned brand is renowned for creating limited edition flavours of its cookie, which have previously included watermelon, cinnamon bun and filled cupcake.
The latest addition to its portfolio, Swedish Fish, will combine Oreo’s classic chocolate wafers with a cherry candy flavored red crème.
Swedish Fish will only be available Kroger supermarkets throughout the US after Oreo agreed an exclusivity deal with the Walmart rival.
“We know that consumers enjoy variety when it comes to snacking so we create all of our limited-edition flavours to provide surprising new twists people know and love and on occasion, create unexpected and unique flavor combinations that people may never have thought were possible, including our latest from the Wonder Vault, Swedish Fish Flavored Creme Oreo Cookies,” an Oreo spokesperson said.
Oreo created its Wonder Vault concept in January this year as a basis for the campaigns around its limited edition varieties. Part of the marketing for it included an animated VR tour of the Wonder Vault.
