Swarovski steps up content ambitions

Swarovski is upping the ante when it comes to content after appointing Somethin' Else to develop and implement its content and social strategy.

The content agency, which was appointed following a competitive pitch, has been tasked with developing an online content approach that will help to build strong and long lasting relationships with Swarovski’s current and potential customers.

Somethin’ Else’s remit will cover content strategy, creative and production.

The content created will be distributed across the brand’s autumn and winter 2016 campaigns featuring on their local and global social and digital platforms.

Hayley Quinn, UK and Ireland managing director for Swarovski, said: “Somethin’ Else really impressed us with their strategic thinking and creativity. They quickly got to the heart of our brand and showed great insight into our audience, coming up with creative ideas that will ensure the content we put out is entertaining and adds to the experience our consumers have with our brand.”

Somethin’ Else’s approach will see the involvement of Kate Thornton’s website, TB Seen and will feature content involving amongst others Thornton, Denise Van Outen, All Saint Mel Blatt and Tamsin Outhwaite.
