Above + Beyond poaches creatives from VCCP’s O2 creative team

The pair, who met three years ago while working on VCCP’s ‘Be More Dog’ campaign for O2 will report to the young agency’s executive creative director and founder, Dave Billing.
This hire comes on the back of the consultancy’s appointment of former McCann London head of account management, Tom Bedwell, to the role of client services director and Zaid Al-Zaidy, as partner and chief executive.
Lindmark kicked off her career at Fallon where she created work for both Cadbury and Skoda. At VCCP, she worked across a wide range of clients including Microsoft, Courvoisier, EasyJet and was part of the winning competitive pitch for ASOS and won an Arial award for O2.
Whigham, meanwhile, was recognised as a leading talent in his early days of university, he was snapped up by VCCP and five years later had created work for a long list of clients including Microsoft, Asda, EasyJet and O2.
“Jo and Sam are Ibsen meets Alan Bennett, A-Ha meets Pulp – in other words, an unlikely but interesting combination of Norway and Northern England,” commented Billings, adding: ”They’re courageous thinkers with big cultural antennae. Which is a weird image but exactly what A+B is about. We look forward to doing great work with them.”
The creative agency turns four years-old this year. It’s client rooster includes Amazon, Betway, Made.com and Pol Roger.
