There are two aspects to doing well in this industry that seem to come up time and again: persistence and relationships. We’ve all heard of the late nights and weekends, the sticking to the belief that an idea is worth pursuing. But, sometimes, passion can get in the way of what really matters: the personal and professional relationships that can feed and nurture a long-lasting career.

Roger Camp, partner and CCO of Camp + King feels strongly about both. His body of work, over the years, has been impressive and he has always been able to take his talent and intuition and build strong bridges at the same time. It’s a huge industry, but in many ways it’s a small business where “everybody knows everybody.”

We all know that to be true, but it’s good to have a reminder from someone who consistently creates great work.
