She replaces Wil Boudreau, who recently left BBDO Atlanta to join The&Partnership as chief creative officer.

Previously, Fitzgerald served as VP-executive creative director at CP+B LA, where she worked on brands including Netflix, Old Navy and PayPal. Before joining CP+B LA, she served as a creative director at TBWA\Chiat\Day L.A.

In her new role, she will partner with BBDO Atlanta’s president and CEO Drew Panayiotou to “shape and oversee the agency’s creative output.”

Of her appointment, Panayiotou said: “BBDO Atlanta is a national agency that has evolved into a place that is well suited for brands that are more considered and complex purchases and that demand omnichannel creativity. Robin’s prior experience, proven track record and innovative orientation make her a dream fit for what we do and what we hope to do even better for our clients. Bringing her on board was a no-brainer. Besides, the East Coast will open up a whole new perspective after so many years on the West Coast.”

She will take on her new role in September, working with clients including Toys “R” Us and Norwegian Cruise Line.
