UpLift Media

UpLift Media owns 2000 high-spec HD screens operating in 1,000 pubs, bars and other leisure venues across the UK. It is intended to be a new way to promote live Sky Sports fixtures, drinks and events in pubs to help licensees drive customer footfall, loyalty and spend.

The fixtures can also provide brands with the opportunity to reach an engaged and socially active audience. Publicis UK will be working with Sky and Molson Coors to connect advertisers with this key audience.

The agency won the account in a pitch against a number of undisclosed agencies. Publicis declined to say how much the account was worth but it's rumoured to be £8m.

Damian Saunders, commercial & strategy director Sky Business said: "We are looking forward to working with Publicis UK and operating at greater scale as the network rolls out., Its great to have Publicis as part of the team as we take UpLift Media and the brands we work with from strength to strength.”

Guy Wieynk, chief executive of Publicis UK & Western Europe said: “This is a really great win for our commercial practice and we are delighted to be working with UpLift Media, alongside Sky and Molson Coors, developing and marketing their growing digital screen network"
