Craske joins from Forever Beta, where he was also a creative director, he will now work across all of the agency's accounts including Samsung, Coca-Cola, Etihad Airways and Asda.
Prior to Forever Beta, Craske was a creative director at Isobar, where he developed work for Google, including the internet giant's 'incredibly close' campaign.
Barretta, meanwhile, arrives at Cheil from WPP’s global activation agency, Geometry Global, where she was head of design, leading the team that won the Diageo business for the agency. She was also previously head of design at Saatchi & Saatchi X in London.
Her new remit will see her responsible for shaping innovation around the agency’s design offering working with all clients.
Barretta and Craske will report to recently-appointed executive creative director Caitlin Ryan, who joined the agency from Karmarma in January.
Caitlin Ryan said: "I want to break up the way traditional creative departments are structured, which is why I am finding best-in-breed specialists to work collaboratively as creative directors with wider teams across all our accounts. Both Georgia and Nick over-index on passion, talent and collaboration.”
Cheil is continuing to expand its creative department, and is set to announce a head of film as well as a third creative director in the near future.
