Twitter users express shock as YouTube suffers rare outage
Video hosting website YouTube suffered an unexpected bout of downtime earlier today, with intermittent issues still reported for some users.

The site went down at around 12.30pm today, but appears to have recovered.
Social media users reacted in both expectedly aghast and sarcastic fashion.
