The political season, once again, has shown cordial, well-mannered, in-depth, thoughtful discourse.

Hillary Clinton

Wait, it’s 2016 and it’s America.

That means it is Twitter time — and Hillary Clinton sent the GIF and meme business into overdrive with a response to Donald Trump’s assessment of Barack Obama endorsing Clinton.

Here was Trump’s opening gambit.

Aaaaaand, Clinton’s response.

At press time (well, posting time) there were 253k+ retweets and 285k+ likes of Clinton’s quick little response. Bloomberg noted that it was the most popular tweet she’s ever put out on the platform. Trump’s tweet, at this moment, has received 20k+ retweets and 44k+ likes — not a bad haul, but Hillary has upped the ante, no matter how juvenile you think that sort of thing can be.

Enjoy the wormhole you’re about to go down. We’ll get you started with some reactions from this “Oh snap!” moment, including an “Oh snap!” from Questlove, which really should be the default for any situation like this one.
