Copa90 has revealed that it will keep football fans in the loop during Euro 2016 with its Facebook Messenger chatbot.

Chatbot

The global football media network has created its first chatbot that will give fans results and news throughout the tournament.

The Euro 2016 Guide features will launch tomorrow (10 June) and will feature content from Copa Collective members, including the Euro 2016 City Guide by Mundial Magazine and Scotts Menswear. It also provides editorial and news from Kick, Panenka and other leading European football magazines, all of which has been optimised or mobile platforms.

Each morning users who have previously interacted with the bot will receive a message with information and news about what they might have missed from the previous day.

James Kirkham, Head of Copa90, said: “A generation is growing up wanting satisfaction on demand. We’re ensuring that we can be the perfect football accompaniment to this behaviour, providing key content as and when our audience need it.

Messaging is the biggest thing happening in communications media right now. This is the start of something much bigger for us. We’re going to learn quickly whilst delivering what we think is a quite brilliant range of content for the discerning fan.”

Copa90 developed the functionality for the bot alongside Rock Labs, the messaging software experts.
