In this new role, Shaw will be responsible for overseeing the agency’s product offering, from strategy and creative to design and technology, to help clients meet the wide variety of brand challenges they face.

Additionally, the role will entail uniting the company’s capabilities in strategy, creativity, design and technology to provide a more connected and powerful offering.

Shaw commented on the new role: "It’s an unusual title but I like it for two reasons. The first is that it’s about encouraging a fluid relationship between strategy, creativity, and technology, which is vital in a fast-paced and results-driven environment. And the second is that it’s a reminder to be proud of our work and make sure that what we offer to clients is always fresh, attractive, and useful."

He will take up the role immediately and will work alongside Brand Union’s worldwide CEO Toby Southgate and chief financial officer, Alex Spark.
