As Cannes 2016 approaches, you may not have noticed that the EU referendum lands slap bang in the middle of the Festival of Creativity – on the 23 June to be precise.

We at The Drum do not want an entire industry's political voice to disappear as a result of unfortunate timing. So we're launching a campaign reminding our UK readers heading to the Riviera to Think Postal Vote.

You have just a week left to get your postal vote application to your local electoral registration office – 5pm on 8 June is the closing period. It takes less than five minutes to print, fill in and send off your application, which can be accessed here.

Every time you think of Cannes - arrange a meeting, RSVP to a yacht party – remember to Think Postal Vote, and ensure the media and marketing industries get their say on the future of the UK in Europe.
