Senior figures from the BBC, Samsung and eBay have been chosen as speakers for The Drum’s upcoming Future of Marketing event in London at the end of next month.

The Future of Marketing

The event will look at how emerging technologies are going to shape the marketing strategies of the future and will discuss how they can be best utilised.

BBC Global News’ senior research manager, Andrew Tenzer, Samsung’s senior marketing manager and VR lead, Mária Rakušanová, and eBay’s head of EU analytics, Davide Cervellin are among 15 speakers scheduled to take to the stage and discuss how new technologies such as virtual reality are changing their roles and industries.

The event will also look at some wider marketing issues such as the impact of real-time marketing, the potential of influencer marketing, methods of communicating with customers and how lessons learned from marketing to centennials can be used when marketing to Gen X.

Also featuring in the panel will be innovation director at We Are Social, Tom Ollerton, Hearst Magazine’s chief digital officer, Darren Goldsby and Blippar co-founder Jess Butcher.

The Future of Marketing will take place at London’s Mary Ward Conference Centre on 30 June from 8:30am and tickets can be purchased on the event website here.
