PokerStars to deploy Neymar Jr and Ronaldo in new global ad campaign

Online poker room PokerStars has partnered with Barcelona star, Neymar Jr., and Brazilian legend, Ronaldo, for a new marketing campaign created by Gravity Road.

The London-based creative agency will be responsible for developing an online campaign which will work to increase the brand’s visibility and engagement across social platforms while also driving customer acquisitions.

Kicking off this summer the campaign will benefit from one of the world's most famous players in Brazilian international and Barcelona forward Neymar Jr. Former Real Madrid superstar and World Cup 02' winner Ronaldo will also appear in the online ad campaign.

Simon Tilbury, associate director for advertising at PokerStars said: “We are very excited to be working with Gravity Road. We have some of the world’s biggest talent, so we needed big ideas that would have impact. We were not only impressed by the team’s idea but also their understanding of the content and how people would receive the idea.”

Gravity Road was chosen to run the campaign following a competitive pitch and now adds PokerStars to its list of clients which includes B&Q, Sainsbury’s, Bauer Media, Mondelez, Three, YouTube and Vita Coco.
