Twitter’s Periscope live streaming video service is increasing its hardware compatibility with DJI Phantom drones now capable of broadcasting footage straight to the social network.

The DJI series affords web users the ability to capture dynamic live video from elevated positions.

Furthermore, the app update will allow Periscopers to actively switch between iPhone and drone footage.

Persicope recently announced that live-streamers can sketch on their feeds to help annotate their broadcasts. It is just one of many features being added to make the experience more user friendly.

Earlier this year it announced compatibility with popular camera series GoPro so the app is looking to be going all in with its brand partnerships.
